I LOVE the Little Drummer Boy! It’s my favorite Christmas song ever! When I hear, “I have no gift to bring….that’s fit to give our king,” I literally burst into tears! Jesus got gold, precious perfumes, and other expensive gifts. But the gift of the little boy playing his drum makes Jesus SMILE. I can only hope that someday I will meet Jesus, and he will smile at me.

I can remember (as a young girl) my Father would go out Christmas Eve getting a real tree. He would wait until then because he would get it so cheap and that is all we could afford. Our decorations were the Christmas cards we received the year before. My siblings and I would cut the front of the card off the back and put them all around the house. We thought our house looked beautiful.

Crystal, I love Little Drummer Boy. I am a teacher, and every yr I play the old show from the 60's, and have to turn my head, as I cry. I tell myself to get real, but it always gives me tears. Haha I think Mary gave you a sign. Nativity on the piano for sure.

Love The Little Drummer Boy. It's a song of my childhood. I love vintage/older Christmas songs/music better than what's out now. The song I despise is Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You. 🙉. Also, créche is pronounced with the e sound as in beg or egg. 🙂

The dining room is beautiful! I love the black stable. The holy family stands out so nicely against the black. I also have the Willowtree set and I use a dark wood stable and I love the contrast.

Crystal I love ❤ your dining room decor and the Nativity is beautiful. The bows are,giving me ideas for my tree. You were responsible for me purchasing my first King of Christmas tree 3 years ago. I always used fresh Christmas trees with my children the picking out of the tree was our special time together. The mess of the tree shedding was too much for this 73 year old grandma, I really dislike Santa Baby and All I want for Christmas. I love the traditional songs.

We had our first small snow it was nice supposed to have some flurries Thanksgiving in TN it isn't going to be big I will take it and the cold is coming back to us . Tomorrow Macy's parade for me and dinner and the movie" Planes trains and Automobiles "will be my movie for Thanksgiving then the start of Christmas begins.
