Christmas Drone Light Show | Dallas Texas | 160 Drones

160 light show drones take flight over downtown Dallas, Texas to celebrate the holidays. Sky Elements Drones skyelementsdro... can help bring your event or production to the next level.
The show in this video is our 160 drone stock Christmas show. The show can be flown with optional endings of "Merry Christmas," "Happy Holidays," both, or one with your logo at the end.
These light show drones are custom built and contain super bright LED lights that make them clearly visible several miles away. Our show designers plan the path of every single drone and we maintain GPS accuracy of less than 10cm on every drone in the air. Even in sub-par weather these drones are able to hold their formations. The show in this video had light mist with winds gusting around 20mph and yet our drones held tight formations. The Christmas tree is nearly 300ft tall.

I saw this live in Dallas the night it was filmed. But at the time I had no clue how it was done. It was just this marvelous, wondrous scene taking place high in the sky before my very eyes that night. At first I thought it was some kind of very precise, specialized fireworks. But the images that formed in the sky seemed way too structured and the bursts of light lasted far too long for it to have been fireworks. So I wasn't quite sure what it could have been. Now I know what it was..... *AMAZING* ....simply *AMAZING.*

As a member of the commercial drone community...what is involved with getting a production like this coordinated with the powers that be?!? @@julesj5853 Software is just a tool. Art is solving problems. The more software you have, usually increases the scale and complexity. However it usually also increases the amount of problems you have to deal with. That's like trying to say that 3D digital sculpting has less essence than sculpting with clay. You are wrong. Fireworks is just a different type of medium. Also amazing, however not applicable towards any comparison, save for the similarity of the colored lights in the sky.

Drone shows are becoming common around the world. In China they have yearly CONTESTS as to which students can pull of the most spectacular coordinated drone light shows. Surely, it's going to surprise some folks but as time goes on, we'll have really epic drone shows to look forward to as a yearly (or holiday) spectacle. This most DEFINITELY would have seemed like MAGIC to anyone from 100 plus years ago.
