Love that you shared part of your Christmas eve service. The church I go to stop doing it. I was going to go to another but had dinner with family at the same time as the service. I was bummed I missed it but my time with my family is very important to me. We only have a short time here on earth with each other. I am always with the Lord and I take Him with me to share with my family that don't know Him each on a personal level.
