Honestly. I completely understand the fact that he really does have to break up with her rn since he IS putting her in danger being with him. So much so that she could end up getting killed at an even earlier point in time which would end up complicating things way more than they already are. (For example, Imagine if they both ended up in a situation like episode 3 where they run into a guy like Taiju and he ends up killing her. Nothing can be done at that point and her death is sealed completely. Makes sense to secure that aspect of future for now so you can more easily influence other aspects without having to worry abour Hina dying sooner) So yeah, that I can get behind. But what pissed me off was how he broke up with her. Girl poured her heart out to him the week before and showed how much she loved him for all these years even after the shit he put her through and he decides to hurt her like that? Fool could've said he didn't wanna get her caught up in this or he wanted to focus more on the gang rn. He didn't have to straight up lie to her face like that and give her that kinda pain.

Actually, (god I hate I had to use that word), Hina lived beyond the accident that originally killed her, because of the timeline where Takemichi broke up with her. It did help and saved her. She got killed because Takemichi got into contact with her again, and Kisaki got that info. She was alive as long as he was away from her, and the moment he went to return, she got killed (intended along with him as Hanma said). What he's doing makes sense logically, it just doesn't account for the unkown changes later down the line that could play part in possibly not needing to break up with her. Time travel is a weird but fascinating concept. I get why you got annoyed though, the way he went about it was pretty harsh.

I get the frustration of Takemichi breaking up with her despite that being exactly what he did originally, but I think it's important to remember that he's already going down a different route this time, with his plan to take down black dragon and stop Hakkai from killing Taiju. So even if he does still break up with Hina, there are several of other changes he can make over the next 12 years to avoid that same future (including taking out Kisaki). Since he is taking on black dragon this time, he probably thinks she'll be safer this way, seeing as she almost got attacked the last time

The real solution is for him to go back in time before he even thinks of doing gang activity and never be associated with Gang activity at all. Think about it, all this happened because he thought the gangster life was cool and it ruined a lot of his reputation.. If he had any. The gang life isn't for him and I hope he learns that he shouldn't be involved with it at all at some point. It'd save Hina and him a lot of trouble.

Exactly the problem won’t be the breakup Kisaki is the only problem because of jealousy and him dealing with rejection. It’s common sense don’t even need to read the manga to know why it makes sense. And maybe because Ik how big they are with respecting their elders and he knows he can’t physically protect hina, takemitchy thought the break would be best. Thinking about the countless stories of girlfriends hurt and killed because their boyfriends were in the streets and never bothered to keep their mess away from the home and relationship, I don’t see a problem with a fictional character doing this. I think people forget the fact Taiju is insane and this is an anime about gang banging 😂 hina can’t jump in like she did with drakken she literally almost got her block knocked off by Taiju just for even speaking up for takemitchy.

Hina gets away with doing dangerous shit because others are there to save her so at least for the time being keep her away from the gang until some problems get solved. also the only way this can really be solved is if kisaki dies cause I don't think he would just give up.
