So cute. I did this with the truck in the snowy forest. Burned the edges. Like you said, the edges wanted to curl, had to work with It :) Then added the pinecones and evergreens, little bow to the corner. My brother loved it. Really like the tree , very pretty :)

Cute DIY's. It helps to paint the seams with a dark paint pen before you paint it white, then do the brush strokes. It shadows the seams better and brings out those beautiful planks you were after. :)

You can get the paint sticks at Lowe’s... you get 10 sticks for 98 cents and they have the large popsicle stick 30 for 98 cents.. both in the paint section! Love your diys!!

Love the word tree, it is simple but perfect! If I find the word at dollar tree I will use them, if not I will take your idea and write the words. The tags are really cute, many uses. Cindy All loooks fantastic. Only one thing I would of done differently to save some paint on the last one where you stick the paper I would of painted only a strip around the tag. My favourite are the beads tags they are so cute. Thank you for the tutorial.🎄

I used my metal word Believe as a stencil for one of the large ornament shaped wood pieces from Dollar Tree,the other 2 words I glued onto other wooden pieces, but saved a stencil of them for future use,just traced them onto a sheet of paper.

I got some of the unfinished wood shapes from dollar tree. One was a ornament and I took some colored burlap and added the word peace on top of the burlap.

I loved the sticks you used to assemble a solid wood backing for a sign. I might have painted the silver words using black chalk paint so they were all black which I think might help bring in some cohesion and make the tree shape you are creating a little more clear.

Good stuff, as usual! I've noticed that when you use Gorilla Wood Glue that you do not wet the wood. Does that work okay? I thought you had to wet the wood, and I don't use Gorilla for that reason.
