It never ceases to amaze me how we get sucked into buying so much, year after year…by the time I’ve eaten Christmas dinner I feel like I’ll never want to look at another item of food for the rest of my life, yet we still have fridges full of meat and cheese and dips and cupboards groaning with biscuits and cake and nibbles…utter madness, and it happens every single year!

Gosh so much food, we did way less this year and did a huge shop for the food bank instead, the world's a horid place just now wanted to something to try and help this year. Hope you all had a nice christmas

What a lovely idea I hadn't even thought of that. Whenever we go to the supermarket we do buy bits for the food bank but it is too much food you're right and foe 1 day it's silly. We did thank you i hope you did too x

Love watching your food shops. This was a good 1. I absolutely love cheese so think your cheese stash is amazing!! You will becable to freeze things, make things with leftovers, si im sure its not going to go to waste. And you have lots of visitors, im like you if i put a buffet out, i go to town!! Would've want any1 going hungry or thinking ' oh i can only have 1 sausage roll or 1 but of cheese cos shes not put enough out!!' Its been a pleasure to watch your videos, ive been hooked since i 1st came across your channel last Christmas with your xmas food shop so been watching for a year now. Hahaha yes I'm always worried there won't be enough but as you say there's so many people and so many kids nothing goes to waste we just carry on eating the Xmas food for a few days after it's so nice. Hey you can make your Yorkshire puddings ahead of time and they warm up lovely from the freezer and go really crispy x

Just cook them as u want cool and pop in a freezer bag or container , remove from freezer put straight in the over for about 5/6 mins in a hot oven and voila fresh Yorkshire puds let me know how it went if you do them x

@@OrdinaryEnglishMum Tesco last night was fine, it wasn’t any busier than usual at the time I went but some things I couldn’t get so iv just popped back to see if restocked & wow 😱 iv never seen nothing like it. The queues were all the way down the aisles. I think it’s worse because the retail park that has Morrisons & Iceland supermarkets has roadworks outside with 4 way traffic lights which is making that retail park a nightmare so I think alot of people are going to Tesco instead xx

What lovely food!....You made some really lovely choices but omg at the money we spend on it all eh! Theres just me and my Mum for Christmas Dinner at hers......well it has been for the past 6 years now as we lost my stepdad a few days before x At the moment I'm bed bound and am really pinning my hopes of gettin to hers in a taxi as shes only round the corner! My Mum originally bought 2 Christmas ready dinner meals from Marks which I feel was great but shes since managed to get her friend to take her to Aldi and she decided then and there she was going to make a full on dinner....Prawn cocktail the flippin lot bought a turkey and spent 250 quid and thats with no alcohol as we dont drink! All I want for Christmas is for her to not burn the house down to be honest 😆 x She doesn't cook and lives on microwave meals as she is 90% blind with macula degenerative disorder and she has advanced Parkinsons.......so we be playin Russian roulette this Christmas 🤣 x I've bought a few little nibbly things to munch on at home but nothing too much.....my money has all gone towards gifts for Mum.... she hasn't bought me much cos she cant get about but she sure will be filling our belies well thats for sure! Dont work too hard lovely and heres to us all surviving it all and makin it out the other side lol x I hope you and your beautiful family have a wonderful time.....Id love to.... if you get a minute see what your Christmas Dinner looks like! It seems we all have very different plates! Have a good un and take care of you and the bubs! xxx
