I know it as the Suzette stitch, and work in the spaces between stitches not the sc's. I learned it on KZbin from another crochet channel. I love this stitch. Thank you for this tutorial, the cozies are so cute x

Make sure you count your stitches after each round in order to correct any mistakes as you go. If they're curling up on the edge like a bowl, either you missed a stitch or an increase. If they're puckering or waving, you may have added stitches along the way somewhere. I hope this helps 🤞❤️
