Lego is also underrated for all genders and ages. My teenager she loves interior decorating so gift vouchers to homeware stores, she has a field day with. A thing i love doing with my Son now is getting him car parts for his project clapper. We live in a low socio-economy so i try to focus my choices on getting them excited for the brighter future ahead. But your right, its so much easier to buy for girls than it is for boys. Even a prepaid lesson in driving. A few basic tools. We collect Die Casts so cant go wrong with them, or the Pop vinyls. If you want to get a Sentimental long lasting gift, you can pick up some really nice collector coins for like $10 upwards. I'm always trying to make money work for me so I try to find something that will increase in value so they can cash in on it later if they need to achieve bigger goals. That's the frugal single mum kind of mentality. So on the back of their gifts ii put some down in stocks and high interest banks. They might think i suck right now, but in time they will understand when i hand them the asset over.

Pile fillers = cheap tat! Better to have quality over quantity 👍 The meaning of Christmas is long lost 😢
@SarahSays2 жыл бұрын
Hair dryers, family board games, hair curlers, make up and make up brushes, headsets / earphones are not cheap tat. Actually, it's all some people can afford so how about we stop being so inconsiderate to others? What works for you and your family might not work for the next and that's okay. It blows my mind how people ALWAYS have to be so negative and offensive.

Been watching your vlogs for years and never commented but some of these comments, honestly 😂 give it a bloody rest. growing up as one of three girls my parents always made sure we had the same amount of gifts. Christmas morning we would sit by our ‘piles’ and take it in turns to open a gift. The year my sister wanted a laptop the rest of her gifts were ‘fillers’ so she had the same amount to open as my other sister and I. Each family do things differently, there is no need for criticism. Shall we all argue over what veg we have on Xmas day next? 😂 I personally love watching Christmas morning vlogs and think it’s so sad that so many KZbinrs feel the need to add disclaimers to their videos.
