Thanks for another great video Steve and for sharing these unique items from your collection. I also own a cap with the red disk along with a 67th Air Defense Artillery DUI with the red disk behind it. They are part of a grouping I acquired directly for the veterans estate. He enlisted in 1942 so the practice of wearing the disk must still have been in place although I agree it was limited & scarce. It’s the only one I have ever come across. Thanks for replying…it helps to narrow this down and it’s nice to hear that the practice continued into WW2. Boy that grouping sounds like a nice find! I’ll keep you posted as to what the SOS yields!
