Christmas Grapevine Wreath - Simple and Easy Wreath DIY for the Season

Hello everyone, A very, very dear friend of mine, Renate, and I were chit chatting one night (while sipping some wine of course...lol) and I offered to make her a wreath for the upcoming Christmas season. She gave me some ideas of what she wanted and then I took all her ideas and made this classic and elegant grapevine wreath. Using grapevine wreaths is a great way to start your wreath making, if you're a beginner...or a great way to expand your horizons if you're a wreath making pro. Either way, these grapevine wreaths are classics and will always remain a part of my decor for every season or occasion. I am so excited to see the look on my dear friends face when I deliver this to her. YAY!!!!!!

The wreath is so “simply” gorgeous? It’s so earthy and I’m loving the color of the berries, so rich looking, not like a common bright red berry you normally see. Your friend is very lucky to have this gracing her front door. Hope to see more wreaths from you soon.

I really liked your bow making demo. I've never thought of laying it down to make. Wreath looks great. I'm using the red black plaid again this yr,. Teamed with burlap and frosty white. p.s I also don't know when to quit fluffing the bow. lol

I love the berries - can’t believe they came from Dollarama. I thought you were going to say Michaels or somewhere like that! The other florals are pretty as well but for some reason I really love those berries! And that bow! Gorgeous !! (Great instructions too) Your process tips are great and easy to follow. Do you try to balance your picks, or just wherever things look good to you?

Hi Deborah...I do try to balance them a little bit. I often use odd number of items, like 3 or 5 items per wreath, but on this one, it is pretty balanced. I would say whatever works for your eye is the best way to go. And I majority of the time go with what looks good to me. 🌲😊🌲😊 Thanks for watching and for leaving such a good comment. Take care.

Hi, about how much of the ribbon did you use for the bow you created?

Hi Valerie, the roll that I used was 9yards and I used just over half of that to make the bow. The amount of ribbon depends on how large and how many loops you wish to create. Thank you. 😊
