Adelaine, girl your smile is so contagious wtf. I love you so much you don't even know. Low-key cannot go one day without watching you. I want to thank you for making my day, every day. Last year, I went through a really bad stage of depression and I was in therapy. I was told that no one cared about me, and people would always tell me that I was put up for adoption because my birth mom never loved me and that I was a mistake. People would always tell me to kill myself and they would say no one would miss me because they didn’t even know I existed. Almost two years ago, my grandmother died after surviving 3 types of cancer. She was a fighter and she never gave up, she beat the cancer battle 3 times, but when the fourth time came around she just couldn’t fight anymore. She died the night after I had drove 6 hours to her house. I remember walking into the doors and I said I didn’t want to see her because I was too scared to see her in pain and suffering. She didn’t really remember who I was at my bat mitzvah and I remember that after my party I went to my hotel room and I cried. I fear that one day my adoptive mom will forget me and I don’t know what I am going to do. After my grandmother died I came home and I was sexually assaulted and almost raped. I went through a bad year and everyone in my school hallways would always be whispering behind my back calling me a s**t and a w***e they always say I had asked to be assaulted. That caused me to get really depressed. But that was not the only time going through a tough year of depression. Three years ago, I had to go to a hospital to be put under anesthesia for a medical procedure for my stomach. Every day I had dealt with stomach pains and I couldn't even be with friends because of how much pain I was in. I missed half of the school year in and out of hospitals visiting doctors. Throughout my time of being in doctors offices, I would always watch your videos and they would help me take my mind off of my pain and they would make me smile all the time. Even now I get stomach aches but not every day all day like I used to. My mom always saw how happy I was and still am, and I just wanted to thank you for helping me through so much! Thank you isn’t even enough to describe how much I appreciate you. I wish in some way I could give back to you to show you how much you have helped me and how much you mean to me. I know one thing for sure though, you are my hero and I couldn’t ask for any one better to be my hero. I love you Adelaine.
