I've been off since the 15th and all I've done is plan things, been shopping, looked at things that could improve my study (apps and tech), watched one revision video and made a big checklist. I know I have 13 days (minus tomorrow and boxing day) left but I've been held up a lot with the days I've been out shopping (every day this week except Monday and today) :( Really hope you don't overdo it today either. Relax on Christmas Eve

What good revision apps did you find?

Well, I was researching using KZbin, Google and Tumblr (the studyblr community is great for stuff like this). I'm hoping to get an iPad so I thought I'd look up apps (I'm planning to use it for education related stuff only if I get one) that are good for organisation, revision and further learning. Apps: Podcasts (self explanatory) Microsoft Office apps (I need these to work on notes while on the go with ease) Spotify (My favourite for music stuff when I don't have to use shuffle on mobile free) iTunesU (has nice courses) IFTTT (if this then that is an app that basically makes your iPad do things when certain things happen) 30/30 (task timing/setting app) Zotero (basically takes recent browsing history and makes a library of research sources you're using) Documents (I think it's a PDF annotator as well as doing other document storage) PDF Expert (annotating PDFs- I hope it's free as I believe most on this list are) myHomework Student Planner (app for homework- don't know if this is better) The Homework App (app for homework- don't know if this is better) Just Press Record (dictaphone app) ReadQuick (increases reading speed by letting you read articles at a certain pace) Paprika (recipe app, I really want to learn to cook more meals before I go to uni) Quizlet (will probably only use it if I learn a language for fun) KZbin (you know what KZbin is) Exam countdown (clue's in the name) Revision App (has revision notes) These are from looking at several articles, reviews and videos. And I''m still looking (well, probably after Christmas)

By the way I use quizlet and its actually really good with helping you remember terms and specific facts especially with things like science and geography. I've been using it for a while and it's very helpful. Would highly recommend for revision and not just for learning another language.😊

I remember watching these every morning when they came out, i would wake up at like 6 am during my summer semester and this would get me through a 5 hour studying morning, before allowing me to have the rest of my day to do whatever, from all the motivation from these videos. And here i am again... Summer semester, waking up at 6, and studying on :)

Shyemah Elazzabi depending on when your exam is, study little and often everyday and after around 1/2 weeks it will become a habit and literally when you’re not studying you feel guilty(which I guess is a benefit and drawback but very useful indeed).

Eve I really need advice please. I’m in yr12 in Northern Ireland which is equivalent to your y11, and I am planning to do biomedical engineering at university. For A-Levels I need to choose physics because I am not able to do A-Level maths. And, the requirements for A-Level physics is: BB in double-award science, A in physics (as a part of double-award science) and an A in maths at GCSE. But, the thing is, is that I find physics difficult and I’m not particularly skill full at maths but I got a B in my mock, and I was wondering if you would have any advice for GCSE maths and physics, please?
