Nice job, Morgan! This was kind of wholesome. While I do agree Christmas in Book 1 is the best, I do think the Mirror of Erised can be seen to an extent for Harry in a sad way. After all, he did visit it frequently and felt a little depressed and lonely since his parents weren't really there. But yes, his first real and greatest Christmas!

Honestly, I hated the Christmas scenes in Goblet of Fire. Both Harry and Ron were so wrong, for they treated their dates. I get that they're jealous, and they wanted to go out with their crushes instead. But still, the Patil twins and Hermione deserve better.

When I was 14 years old, I didn't go to my first school dance with my crush because she had already been asked out first before me, so I went to my first school dance with a different girl. However, unlike Harry and Ron, I didn't let my jealously ruin my date because I wanted my date to have a good time. So, I just focused on her the entire night. I ain't cutting Harry and Ron some slack.

Wands r like a part of wizard's very being. Their character, so of corse Harry would b upset and the death eaters in Malfoy's Manor were hesitant to give their wands to their master. Even to borrow. Since the 1st book was the seed and the movie was the root for all potterheads to sprout, OF CORSE the X-Mas there was the best!! Imo, I think the movie makers who added in burning the Burrow's in the 6th film, was just to show how much the enemies love to play with their victims. My theory of why, but still not needed. I agree about the wands but I think the filmmakers just thought they needed a bit more action in the adaptation of HBP or something. 🤷‍♂️ The book is one of my favorite of the series but it is very lore/exposition heavy so I can kind of see where they might have been coming from (if that actually was their line of thought) but that scene is just so poorly executed it’s laughable; it comes out of nowhere, it defies the protections the house has, it’s never referenced again (even in the immediate aftermath), and (to me, its greatest fault) it’s basically just a rehash of the battle at the ministry from after Bellatrix kills Sirius. TL;DR: it adds (less than) nothing and they knew it from the beginning but they filmed it anyway. 🤷‍♂️

I always think that .. If Harry was from India, he would have celebrated not only Christmas and Easter but also Diwali, Dussehra, Holi, Navratri, Eid. Lots of happiness (these are only the very special festivals of India, the complete list is very long) 😃😁 And if we talk about feasts, there are more than 2000 vegetarian dishes in India which are prepared during these festivals. Every festival has some special dishes which are prepared only during that festival. Edit : While reading the books, I always think that Harry (and all the other characters) don't have many food options; they just have the same boring 10-12 dishes. So what's the point of the feast then?
