Honestly I would say that Snape is the perfect example of the Boiling frog or what Sirius said in OOTP the world is not made of good people and death eaters. Now a VERY IMPORTANT piece that we miss in movie is that during these talks Sirus mentioned an important fact. Riddle started with rhetoric and charisma that had people not see the darker parts of his plan in the beginning. The start was all restoring wizards to the point of living without fear, the idea of putting those of true blood were they belonged etc. Purebloods with mindset like Sirius' family ate that up with a spoon but soon people realized how far Voldemort would go and he ruled with terror and destruction. Snape may not have been his father but he had a rough upbringing and let's face it the unforgivable term was something I feel he regreted saying but in the heat of the humilation in front of the school did he forge a mask and say what he didn't mean? A term all others used for a type of person? Okay as the product of similar emotional and pyschological humilations I know for a fact you can say things you dont truly mean in a situation like that. I remember vaguely calling someone illiterate jackass once when I was around 8. Didn't truly understand the term at the time but its something you don't call someone on the playground either. Even a bully from your Special Education class that treats you like dirt. Neville was a nervous wreck, using his father's wand with his grandmother seeing her son and wanting him to be his father the way Potter was the spitting image of his father. Dumbledore SPECIFICALLY sent harry away so he wouldn't be raised hearing the story and dealing with being famous for something he didn't know anything about. But likely Severus spent last decade with everyone speaking the name of James Potter and Harry's survival in revered tones and he had issues with that. Dobby thought he was "Saving and sparing" harry from being in danger by trying to keep him away from school, where Lucius was going to put in motion something awful to happen like it did 50 yrs ago. Did severus in a backhand way often hope that harry and neville would be expelled keeping them out of danger but later realize if Voldemort was truly coming back it wouldn't help? Likely. Now, is Severus a saint? No but he was human and despite his flaws not a true monster. He knew Lupin was a werewolf and Black was a convicted felon so yes he probably had some schenfruede there. but did he see them as potential danger to students? he had no reason not to be suspicious of either of them and his own dislike didn't serve him well until the 2nd person to ever treat him well insisted they were on the same side when it came to defeating the dark lord a 2nd time

He guesses that Voldemort would want to make horcruxes using items from Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. He knows that Gryffindor's sword was not one, so he thinks that Voldemort probably turned an item of Ravenclaw's into a horcrux. But he didn't know what it was, and it was the only horcrux he didn't figure out. Turns out, it's all because Helena was too embarrassed to tell anyone 🤡🤦‍♂

Let's face it, Harry == Horcrux, Snape and Dumbledore "in accord", and Regulus Black were all beaten up theories that the fans came up with on DAY 1 of HPB and they were all true

In this video, you say, "Viktor was a man of few words, but he made up for that by flying a broomstick really well" But why should he have to "make up" for being stoic and not fake? Viktor doesn't want his time going around engaging in superficial, petty conversations with people that reveal nothing and just waste time and breath.
