Hi Wendy. I read all the books with my kids when they were little. I've watched the movies several times. When my younger son was a teen, a little girl got quite excited whispering to her mother that there's "Harry Potter!!" Her eyes got so big!! I was tickled to death. My son sadly was not. Oh, that is so sweet. But I understand why your son probably wasn’t the happiest lol… Hagrid is another one of my favorite characters and of course Harry Potter is such a well written character. He is so diverse and every single time I watch the movies or read the books. I learned something new about him. I understand… I used to feel the same way. I kinda got involved with Harry Potter totally by an accident… And when I started to really start paying attention by reading the books and then the movies I was hooked… It’s a big big universe of wonderful and amazing things and the story plot is simply this good versus evil, lots of turns and twist and yes, it does have the sense of mystery and magic but honestly, the whole story from beginning to end captivates me so much and the writer JK Rowling has an awesome way of bringing characters to life, she was a school teacher… And I honestly believe her books are worth read… Thank you so much friend for supporting me and my channel.
