Christmas in July Compilation of My Last Years Favorites / Craft Fair Ideas

My husband was in the Navy and was deployed in December more than he was home. Christmas in July was an important holiday for us. We exchanged gifts, had our traditional food, played games, watched movies, visited friends, and whatever other Christmas activities we could think of. Calling it NOEL makes me sad. We weren’t the only family celebrating at an odd time of year, but it was equally important to everyone. When he was home over the actual holidays we had a simple day and would craft and relax. Now I’m alone and can holiday whenever I want.

I am so glad that you took time that you had together and made it special in July. Those will be memories you will have forever. I have had to do similar with family who are scattered all over the place. We celebrate when we are together. My dad was military and would be away from us for long periods of time. We really cherished the times that we got to be with him.

For the penguin.. you said fleece but it looks like a square of felt. Which is it? They are so adorable I would love to try them. On closer inspection where you are cutting, it does look different from felt. Do they make fleece that thin?
