Thank you for the London Christmas tour! I miss being in the UK (although I was there for 3 weeks Sep-Oct), especially during Christmas. London, as always, is beautiful and festive, but visiting the small cities and the country villages during the Holidays hold the best memories for me. Excellent “Christmas Lights” guided tour! To my utmost shame, I live no more than a 25 minute train ride to Charing X but …..I have not been “up taaahn” to see the lights since Adam was a lad! The last time I went was late 70’s (I think 🤔 long time ago, anyhooo) and the Christmas Lights epic and spectacular feature was a series of moving lasers zooming up and down Oxford Street - the wow factor was…..erm……. Slightly ‘disappointing’ …. However, the laser feature lasted for only a short while and it was stopped on the instructions of “someone or other” in the fear that the sudden burst of intense bright light would burst spectators’ retinas…. Well, yes, if the spectators were 20 foot tall!! 😲🙄 ….and that was the end of that! Covent Garden looked wonderful, again, not been there for many a year 😥😥(used to walk past it twice a day when I worked up there…) but I love it there. Happy Christmas and hope to see more of your virtual tours! 😄

When I was a lad no Christmas was complete without a trip up to London to see the lights and have an excited look around Hamleys. Any plans to see a Panto this year? You really should, it'll bring out the eight year old in you! Happy Christmas to you both.
