I've been New Orleans for Christmas before and there were so many things to do. This was a beautiful recap of the festive outbreak that happens once a year. I have also been there (from Montana) for Mardi Gras. I love that city.

I'm heading to New Orleans at Christmas, but I'm worried that all the great music I'm looking forward to is going to be just Christmas songs. I hope I'm wrong. There's just so much of Jingle Bells, White Christmas, and Silent Night I can take. Can anybody ease my worry?

Ha... not to worry! New Orleans will still have their great Jazz, blues and brass bands cranking out great music. Check out the calendar at the clubs on Frenchmen St. Snug Harbor Jazz Club, Maple Leaf, Howling Wolf or Chickie Wah Wah on Canal St. Look for artist... Kermit Ruffins (great trumpet), Jon Cleary (piano) or Big Sam. Trust me there is plenty of music to enjoy in the City.
