Born and raised in blue collar Queens 70s, 80s. Mom used to take me to big tree and skating at Rockefeller every year. Pretzels and roasted peanuts from pushcart vendors. Snow slowly falling, holiday music, laughs as we admired window displays while making our way back to subway, then comfy ride home on F train. Love those memories. Something about a NYC Christmas back then just felt so magical, woundrous, safe and happy. Thank you mom and dad, for making NYC our home growing up. I love you and miss you dearly.
