You've hit my birth place! I was born in Manhattan and lived there for the first couple years of my life, have family there still, grew up going there monthly and now love in NJ which means I'm able to go in whenever. Which i have a few times already this holiday season and you've been spot on with the popular places! Lol i didn't even know times square had it's own shops this year! I'll have to check it out in the next couple of trips in. I finally made it to Hudson yards and it's spectacular! If you're looking for a photo with a tree, i prefer Bryant Park over Rockefeller. The latter is just so packed once it starts getting dark because the light show on Saks starts and the tree looks better lit. However, Bryant Park's tree looks just as good in the daylight as it does at night. I spent a couple of days volunteering to take pics for tourists and the ones at Bryant Park, i feel, look better. I mean, the one at Rockefeller you know right away where it is but once you see it, you kinda want to just get away from there because it's so packed. But fun fact about the topiaries in cement planters by doir, they have a scent infuser so it smells great! Lol, yes i was sniffing them 😂

I spent Christmas in New York in 1998 a longtime ago it was magical though very cold but a great trip so pretty all the lights decorations definitely looking forward to another trip😊❤

I'm planning on visiting NYC this holiday season. It is much cheaper to stay in lower Manhattan than midtown, but lower Manhattan doesn't see, as festive as midtown. Can someone give me help/tips on where to stay????
