Roastbiff is Roastbeef, and is beef-meat slowcooked so its pink on the inside then ofcourse sliced up. Julesylte is a traditional made toppings (pålegg) that we make before christmas (or buy), its basically a thin ribs (Pig) thats about the same you probably have for christmas dinner hehe, and you make it usually in a round form and it is a mix of meat, spices, fat, and stuff and in the end it's to be under pressure for a time to stiffen up and moist is drained from the meat. Ribberull is probably the same as Julesylte just made slightly differently I think they don't cut up the meat (Ribba) and just add spices and all the stuff and roll it into a roll that can be cooked for dinner or made as toppings. Skinkestek is a ham with spices and stuff at it .. they all are various toppings that can be used for your slice of bread and stuff, Roastbeef and Skinkestek you find in stores all year around while Julesylte and Ribberull is seasonal ones and ofcourse probably spiced as that too. My mom used to make homemade lambroll's ... that where formed like well a roll and boiled after she had rolled a lambside with spices, onions and other goodies, then places them under pressure for a time, where they would dry up abit too. then boiled them and you could freeze them down and take up when christmas came :-) Sadly she have passed away so that tradition is something I never learned but alot of people do that still up here in northen norway atleast. We have svineribbe for dinner (today) also :-) but we make sauce from the fluid that comes from the boiling of the ribs, also we serve it with Sossier (those tiny sausages you find ... love those), and potatoes ofcourse. Tomorrow it will be Pinnekjøtt and such :-) Have a Merry christmas and a wonderful new year :-)

To be honest that Riskrem you buy usually have too much cream and too little porridge :-) I cook rice porridge in the morning, let it cool off and while I let it cool off I take 1 small box of cream (Fløte) and whip it to a fluffy cream with some added sugar (before it gets fluffy tough), and then just combine the two ... rice porridge and whipped cream mix it good and serve it with the red sauce you can buy at store (Piano raspberry sauce is good, its not too sweet either) And ofcourse you can make your own raspberry sauce ... the rice porridge I usually make is the Toro's Risgrøt (25 minutes cookingtime) its the best ... unless you want to cook everything from scratch ofcourse :-)
