I was obsessed with jelly rollers. I started 7th grade in ‘98 thought it was so cool to take notes and do homework with those pens. It go so bad the history teacher has to tell the class not to use the silver ones on class work because he wasn’t going to sit and shift it around to try and read it. Us girls would give out like 2 jelly rollers and a candy cane wrapped in a ribbon for Christmas lol! Everything was all about being shiny and sparkly back then, I had these purple pants that looked like they were glitter bombed everyone liked. Then all the pleather, I got mad when I got a real leather jacket…shows how much you know at 12.

Oh, my goodness. Beanie Babies! We went to a friend’s house maybe 20 years ago. My oldest son was probably 6 or 7. His friend showed him his mom’s Beanie Baby collection. She had almost all of them. He took the tag off of every one of the stupid things, because “they forgot to.” The friend’s were certain that we had just destroyed their future retirement because of that.

There’s such happy feelings in these innocent nostalgic memories! Kind of miss those times. Remember blockbuster video rentals?! Sooo funny to recall. If it was a new release you’d have to get it before someone else or it was taken. The vhs movies were always behind their containers and you’d bring it to the front of the store to the cashier and pay. Lol! Crazy! We don’t even need red boxes anymore and those used to be a new idea. Simple, yet not so simple of times. Happy memories though!! 😆👏😅
