This was soo beautiful..... I'm South African( Xhosa) and the culture of having half a plate of different kinds of meat just reminded me of home. I usually dish up and eat the meat first😂😂😂 then top up with bits and pieces of everything else. It's refreshing seeing someone so young rooted in their culture. I remember watching one of your vlogs, where you went to fetch firewood, you are a good example to the younger generation that being educated and modern doesn't mean one has to shun their culture, thank you for presenting a positive narrative to our African lifestyle ❤️❤️

Thank you so much for your kindness, Maureen 🙏🏾. And yes, we are one big happy family and will forever be grateful to our mum for the best of both worlds. I hope you one day get to visit and if you ever do, please do let me know, perhaps I’ll be in the village and you can come by even if it’s for a day.
