Oh my the pink stemware. My father had some pieces that looked exactly like that. They had belonged to either my grandmother or great grandmother, both of who passed away in the 1950's before I was born. Over the years most of the pieces were broken. It made my day to see them. Another reason to thrift. Maybe some day I will find a few.

The mac and cheese is from Martha Stewart, I just added small cubes of roasted butternut squash. I will see if I can link the recipe for the chili

Kathleen, between the exhibit of vintage Christmas with inspirations of Norman Rockwell and The Enchanted Dollhouse, I feel the classic charm of Vermont. The kitchen in the dollhouse.. ♥. Your wreath is absolutely beautiful and I love the unexpected pop of blue velvet ribbon - it looks very New England. Living on the Georgia coast I don’t find many ski snowy themed items but I love how you’ve added those to your Christmas decor which you can leave up through the winter. Enjoyed viewing your video. I don’t know who made your striped throws but the are made to look like a Hudson Bay blanket. Long ago in the 1930/40’s my aunt bought the real Hudson Bay blankets and gave on to different family members. I believe they were made in Canada and were 100% wool. In later years I was lucky enough to inherit two of them from my relatives. If you look on line you will find them for sale and they are very pricey. The new version is pretty too. I wonder what the new ones are made out of? Do you have White Birch trees where you live?
