I've always interpretted the "change your name and change your mind" part of the song as relating to Denji and Reze leaving their lives and running away.

You perfectly captured the complex and compelling story of Chainsaw Man pt.1, and the fast-paced battle scenes leading up to Makima's eventual demise were just so perfectly placed with the song!! Funny how christmas kids was about phil spector being obsessive and abusive towards his wife ronnie. Phil REALLY didn't want her to leave the house cause he locked all exits, had bodyguards around and kept stealing her shoes. Worst part is that he threatened to kill her if she disobeyed him. Ronnie had to drink till she was sent to the hospital so she can escape Phil. Kinda reminded me of Makima and Denji's relationship in part 1 of CSM. Awesome song choice !!
