Would DIELECTRIC GREASE Be advisable in those connections to prevent moisture?? Thanks
@Powerwash3 жыл бұрын
Dielectric grease is a silicone-based grease that repels moisture and protects electrical connections against corrosion. It is also used to keep dirt, water, and other elements out of electrical connections. So it might be a way to help. But keep in mind, the grease does not conduct electricity, so it shouldn’t be applied directly to the electrical connections.

Does it matter how the vampire plugs go on? Meaning ribbed side vs smooth.
@nosetothegrindstone2 жыл бұрын
Yes the ribbed (hot) side should be hitting the metal piece that corresponds to the larger of the two plug holes

There should be instructions on how to connect the plugs properly. The comment from @nosetothegrindstone is correct 👍🏼

I hot glued these to my brick when outlining the garage. Is there a tool that I can get to help removal go easier? Already broke a couple sockets and don't want to keep going and break the entire string of lights.

Can I use the cords from fluorescent lights and just replace with all new led bulbs?
@TroyStevensStelzerPaintingInc Жыл бұрын
Take 5 seconds and separate the wires before inserting them into the plugs.
