@rookiepaw73053 жыл бұрын
I'm no expert in this area of creativity, but I would say to use a gentle dish soap (not detergent) and a soft cloth (if you'd like), to hand-wash the tumbler. A kind lady (oh_so_crafty561) made me a tumbler, though it doesn't light up, and recommended me to do those things to clean the cup. Do not let it sit in water for very long, and, in this case, take care when you clean and rinse the area near the battery area.

Awesome!! I went on the site and they have different size molds. How do we know which size ring for which cup? Thank you 😊
@damfancycreations4 жыл бұрын
They have measurements so measure the bottom of the tumbler you want to apply it to. :) they have a ‘cheat sheet’ for a handful of Hogg tumblers but I just ordered a few sizes and made them work. If you order a larger size you can cut a chunk out while it is still a little soft and make it work for several tumblers.

I click the Amazon link for the fairy lights and it takes me to paint? I love this tumbler though!
@jestcy42053 жыл бұрын
I think any kind of fairy lights should work. Just as long as they have that same kind of a bottom as hers does in her video. Just a little tip incase u haven’t gotten them yet, if you can, try to stay away from the fairy lights that have a small empty spot at the end where there are no lights attached to the cord. (It’s just the cord at the end but an inch or so with no lights and then the lights start. It’s just a little harder because your left with more cord you need to hide that don’t have any lights on them. It’s not a lot at all, it’s just a lot when your already trying to find areas on your tumbler to hide the cord. This is when your doing a 20oz anyways. The tumblers smaller so less room to hide. Just from my experience. Good luck!

Your cup is one of the best I’ve seen! I don’t understand the glitter and epoxy part, first the glitter, did you put glitter overtop of the light itself or just over the wire? And my next question , when you epoxy over the glitter was the mold attached and you epoxy over the mold too? Ok I have another question. If I wanted blue glitter and colors light would the lights show thru the colored glitter?
@damfancycreations2 жыл бұрын
Hi Wendy! Thanks so much! Yes, the glitter I use is a transparent white so the lights still shine underneath. Yes, I attach the mold and then epoxy over everything which insures the mold is secured to the bottom of the cup. And lastly, it will depend on the glitter, if you use a transparent blue glitter the lights will shine though the blue may effect the color of the lights- if you glitter is opaque, I doubt the lights will shine through. :)
