I like your look! Remember to remind viewers that if they mix fresh with artificial garland, the fresh will dry out and turn brown before Christmas if the hang it as early as your have or use their fireplace like I do or if the like their temperature in their home extra warm. That looks very pretty. I would caution anyone using pine or cedar branches though. A few year ago I used pine and cedar cuttings from my backyard. I decorated the mantle just after Thanksgiving. Two weeks later they were all brown and shedding needles. Better to use faux or preserved branches

It looks just gorgeous Liz! We don't have a fireplace and mantel and I wish we did because I think it adds so much. I had several fireplaces with mantels in our "before downsized house" and I loved decorating them. We had a beautiful 100+ year old farmhouse and it was so cozy and comfy looking at Christmas. I used different themes for each mantel and in the living room I used real branches. It was so pretty bringing the outside inside, and it smelled amazing! I don't really miss our fireplaces and mantle until this time of year, but I really miss them when the decorations go up! There are positives in everything. Although I don't have my fireplaces and mantles I have a smaller little cottage, perfect for me, my husband and our 3 furbabies that is so much faster to clean! Lol......I think you can find the positive in every situation......🎄🎄🎄
