Christmas Series 2017 - DIY Embellishments using Christmas scraps paper

In this Christmas Series video I create two types of embellishments using leftover Christmas card scraps and even parts of reused gift wrapping paper. These work great as tags, on gifts, in scrapbooking or junk journaling and even as ornaments.

Really enjoyed watching your process with scraps. I have a ton of scraps and am looking for more creative ways to use them up. I'd rather create tags or put them on the insides of my cards than to just toss them. It would be great if you did a voice over on your thought processes as you make these. Layering is the key, and it would be great if you gave some guidelines for beginners on how to do that. TFS

Jan Asher thank you so much for your feedback. one day I plan to do full voiceovers. i really want to now but my living space is small and shared so sadly if i did a voiceover there'd be tv, baby, toddler football, etc noises in the background lol. for now i can only get away long enough to record quick intros. but hopefully one day that will change! thanks again and i hope this gave you some ideas for using your scraps. i also love my paper too much to trash any of it!

Hmm I don't think I do. But I will be creating one for this year's Christmas Series once I do my recycled cards videos and have left overs. I can incorporate some examples. I usually use them in other cards, tagflips, scrapbook layouts and in my journals and albums. I think I even used some of these as ornaments on a mini tree I had in my office at the time. Thanks for the great question!
