DIY Embellishments (NO PUNCHES)

Heey everyone! Today I have a different video. DIY Embellishments without punches. I don’t own any, so I had to get a little creative. I remember I had a request to do a video like this and I hope you will like it. It was my first time making them and they will be perfect for snail mail or junk journals. Maybe even in your art journal. Let me know what you think :)

Thank you! Me neither. I spend an afternoon cutting shapes. And the essembling is pretty quick. But i still have shapes, so i can make a lot more :)

You have a Lot more patience than I have This is all fine, if you have no punches, etc. But with the $$ I've spent on punches, dies, and even the ScanNCut my hubby bought for me, you can better believe I will be using them! I dont have your kind of patience. Yours are definitely one of a kind.☺️

Nice! A lot of work did go into making this. How long did it take? Since i have circle punches, i would use them (makes life easier LOL) Now you just have to make another video when you show us what you use them for... ;-) Groetjes, Marie

Thank you so much for doing this video. I have many punches and many times have felt overwhelmed on what to do with so many possibilities. I find I don't do much because of it. Now I am downsizing and I think I forgot that I know how to use scissors to make basic shapes. I can do this. I know I can. I just have to stop listening to all of the hype about new products. i looked at my cereal box this morning after I watched your video. The printing on the outside was a bunch of shapes and I cut those out for templates. I got tags a banner, rectangles and a sun. Thanks again.

Great idea! This would save tons of money instead of buying die cuts, fancy stickers plus it keeps stuff out of our landfills. Also, it always means more that it is totally handmade. And it looks fun! Great idea for kids art projects & teaches them to use simple things they have on hand.

Wow! Such creativity! I love your ability to take all those different shapes and designs and combine them into stunning embellishments. I ran it through Google translate and it's Portuguese which I definitely don't speak, but this is what it said: I translumbrada so creativity. this tip of reusing pieces of paper sticking each other. I loved and I will do for sure because I have several roles. thank you for sharing this a great idea. worth thousands of likes. So not a perfect translation, but at least you can get the basic idea :) Google translate is super easy to use and free. You just copy and paste your word or phrase in the first box, and it will figure out the language and translate it in the second box. New subbie here. Hope that helps. I'm enjoying your vids!

I really love your creativity and all of the end projects, but I LOVE my punches and I don't have the patience nor time to hand cut, but I like the idea for those who don't have or don't want to purchase punches. Now I do have a sizzix big shot and oh how much I love that machine!! :D I also wanted to show that those things are not a must, you can still do it. I like your vid, very straight forward. I am doing a school project and I have no idea what designs to put I don't have those paper scraps because I don't do this often. I just found your channel today. I love this video. I'm going to go make some in a bit. I went through a bad break up a while back and wasn't able to get anything out of my craft room. I had a room full. Including three Cricuts and a cuttlebug. Now I'm starting all over and I don't have a punch even. absolutely perfect. thankyou so much. creative and fun recycling gave me loads of options i hadn't thought of. yesterday i used all the snipped off edges as 'confetti' in an abstract collage... also didn't know i was a paper hoarder...duh...like pens, and pencils, erasers, adhesives... we're all a hot mess. keep up the awesome vids.

Such a simple concept. It is often we overlook the simplest of ideas when trying to create. Thank you for reminding us of how to use our scraps! I've been holding onto mine for too long with nothing to use it for. Such pretty end results. Loving your ideas for working with what you have lying around.
