This song holds such a special place in my heart. My father would sing it to me every time it would come up on our local radio station during Christmas time. When I was young my father got very sick and sadly passed away with Cancer. Whenever I hear this song I can’t help but cry, because I remember his sweet voice singing it out to me and just how much I miss having him there. Merry Christmas everyone. Favorite Christmas song ever. It was my mom's favorite. We would listen to the radio all day just to hear this song. And she would cry the whole time. My mom passed away from cancer 9 years, so listening to this song brings back some of the best memories. She also always made Christmas so special for us kids. Such a bittersweet time of year. But now that I have 2 kids of my own, i strive to make just as special memories with them. This was beautifully done! Thank you.

I read through some of the comments first, but I had never heard this. Then, even before it got to the third line, I knew what I was going to hear, and the tears started pouring. I'm mom to six kids (three boys & three girls). Together, the six of them have presented us with 19 grandchildren, and the fourth great grandchild is on the way.
