It's a wild ride. One of the best home invasion movies imo. Falls under the 'New French Extremism' genre. I remember sitting in complete silence after watching this.

I’ve owned the original dvd since it came out , upgraded to the second sight limited edition blu ray box set earlier this year …. This is one of the finest horror films that I’ve ever seen ( right along side MARTYS) in my 49 years of life 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I agree. Movies being super hyped can take away from the seasoned (no pun intended) slasher viewer. I try to go in without watching trailers and avoiding spoilers but with friends like mine it's hard to dodge the hype sometimes. 😂 Great flick here. I haven't even tried the remake, nor do I have interest in seeing it. I just can't imagine it will deliver the goods so to speak.

From the intro I thought you would watch Christmas Cruelty. Inside is a classic but for some I never considered it a Christmas movie. I haven't watched it for years though.

@@sinistercinemareviews5420 It's a cult (I guess) low budget Finnish, or Norwegian movie, it has a brutal "shocking", "offensive" etc. opening, and a brutal ending, but the rest is kinda slow and boring. Somehow I missed the "Inside" on the title of the video 🤣
