I just hate not finishing anything that I start. It's a curse, really.. Having to finish shows that you've already decided you don't like. But if The Office (American TV series) or Community (TV series) taught me anything, it's that sometimes the first season is the worst!

It seems like everyone is sick lately. Tis the season I guess. Glad you guys are feeling better and are back at it. Hoping I don’t get it because work has been the busiest ever… literally. I’m about to die from exhaustion myself. 😮‍💨 It was a good year for horror for sure. Looking forward to your lists.

The first one sounds exactly like something I would enjoy. I generally love weird, convoluted, nonsensical stories where horror elements and gore take the front sit. Will def watch it, thanks!

I’ve been waiting for y’all to review Deus Irae! Gave me When Evil Lurks vibes. I didn’t find it all that confusing, though I did have to rewind at one point because I wasn’t paying attention. Some of the quick scenes and the comment about the waitress when they are all sitting in the diner left me with all the theories… Can’t wait for part 2!

I've been taking time to slow down with watching loads of brand new films to focus on rewatching favourites at my own pace recently so I've not seen any of these, but a few sound pretty interesting. Also despite being a huge Black Metal fan I tend to get turned off when I see non-documentary movies about it, it always feels so over the top and exaggerated about how edgy it all is. It makes out like the entire community and fanbase of BM is way more dumbass than most of them really are, there's a ton of beauty in the genre and a ton of layers to the styles within the genre. But the edgy side is all most of these films focus on.

My husband loves his black metal....me I like more doom I guess?! Either way whenever a film broaches it ( and death metal) it's always done to the detriment of the music for sure xx
