Christmas Snowflake Gel Polish Design

In today's video I’m going to be showing you how to do a beautiful Christmas snowflake keep watching!
I'm going to start by using the Lust Gel Polish ill give the Aleana practice thumb a full coat of that and then pop her in the lamp
Now I’m going to use a thin coat of Dorothy and that’s red glitter Gel Polish amazing for Christmas
Now I’ll create some faded snow around the nail and to do that I’ll take my Abba Dabba in white-out gel polish and dab dab dab around the edges and I can build that up over a few layers curing when need to.
Now ill give this a top coat because I want a shiny surface to work on
Then I can take my messy Nessy brush and make some dots to mark out where I will lead my lines and that will be the center, top, bottom, sides, and diagonals
Then I can pull lines from the outside dots to the center now ill create a do between each of those lines and create little rooftops from those dots
Now ill create two more dots on either side of each of the lines and pull tiny little lines to each of the big lines and finish with a dot on the top, lets do that to all of them.
I’ll add a dot to the center, some dots on all the little corners, and then scatter some dots outside of the snowflake.
Now ill finish this one with some matte topcoat and that’s it!

Actually, the original actor for the tin man was Buddy Ebsen. Nine days into filming he had a severe allergic reaction to the makeup they used on him which was aluminum dust that was brushed on. He experienced severe muscle cramping and then extreme difficulty breathing and was hospitalized in respiratory distress, spending 2 weeks in the hospital and another month recuperating. He wasn't scarred by the makeup. They eventually changed the makeup to an aluminum paste that was painted on but had to use a different actor.

Buddy Ebsen from the Beverly Hillbillies was the original tin man, he did almost die from a severe allergic reaction to the metallic paint they used. Jack Haley was brought in last minute to replace him. Dorothy is such a gorgeous color, I definitely NEED this gel in my life!!

Originally though, it was a powder, & it coated his lungs. That’s how Buddy Epson got so bad. While he was in hospital, they quietly recast & changed it to a paint so that it didn’t fill the air. In an interview later in life, Buddy recalled losing that part as one of his greatest disappointments. Sad. But, can you imagine Uncle Jed as the tin man??? 🧐

I give my kids and husband a clementine in their stockings every year from santa. Im 39.... I was also brought up in a roman Catholic school where we put cloves in and orange and wrapped a ribbon around it with a candle in the top... perhaps it stems from there?... I've no idea what that tradition was about though... it felt a bit victorian
