Hope you had a nice Christmas Stu and all the best for 2024! Never heard of Sword Master or Prince Valiant....had a quick look at some gameplay and yeah, not bad. Pricey though, also checked ebay haha North & South, what a game back in the day... there was a reboot of sorts made in recent years...meant to be bollocks though but out of curiosity I may give it a go one day just to compare. As for American viewers, I guess I don't count then...too British haha Check you out casually pulling out more heavy hitters at the end there...Batman Return of the Joker is one that has been on my radar for ages.

Never knew Noah's ark is a good game, also didn't realise it was made by Konami. Good job getting ghosts n goblins and monster in my pocket, I could of got ghost n goblins years ago didn't realise the manual was supposed to be Italian on the front. Then to top it off batman return of the joker, Bucky O'Hare and Castlevania 3, the video game collecting gods favour you mate. Enjoyed, that was a big boys pick up video take care.

Well that was an enjoyable pick up! cardboard coming out of your ears! im not a huge batman fan, but that return of the joker is a beauty! Bucky O'Hare is more like Mega Man on the NES. such a great game! funny enough, i paid more for Noah's Ark BITD as i found it a lot harder to find boxed back then. lol. its funny how prices change over the years! You know you need that MIMP now. haha. plus the special poly to fit it in the bottom ;) And Alpha Mission, PLUS dont forget Aladdin. the 2 games that made me throw my toys out the pram and sell up as i knew id probably never get a full set. lol. which was the biggest mistake i did.🤦‍♀🤦‍♀ looking forward to seeing your finds in the new year! ✌✌

I'm not really into PAL games I only buy the PAL version if it runs ok on NTSC consoles pre HDMI. I would however like the PAL Batman game and Castlevania for the artwork.

Merry Christmas Toots! Solomon’s Key is a great arcade game, full of secrets, that’s a Tecmo game along with Rygar and Bomb Jack Some pukka additions mate, you can’t be far away from everything you want for the collection. Love that joker art on Batman, so iconic

Quality boxes and quality games here Stu always a pain when you get something that dont work but still want to keep it (star wars)need to start checking the solder contacts on the cartridge might have a dry solder joint. Heat it up peel the label off and continue to heat it that would be driving me mad it dont work so what have you got to lose pal ? North and South quality on the Amiga N64 boxes are looking sweet classic ghost n goblins very nice the collection must be coming along nicely pal you and your family have a happy new year pal

Man alive you ain’t messing about are you lol. Not an NES guy, but some lovely examples of box art on display here. I sure I played Solomon’s Key on the ST back in the day and used to love it. Oh and Tecmo have done a few great games that most will have heard of. I’m not gonna lie I had no idea Star Wars Arcade was on the Atari. I guess that ain’t surprising if it didn’t get a UK release. It’s a shame it wasn’t the score you thought it was. A nice place holder for now. The GoPro, it should be renamed the GoNo lol. Maybe reserve it for smaller projects. Man I loved Elite back in the day. It was a far too deep game for my young brain. Though I loved playing it on my Dad’s BBC. I used to love picking fights with space pirates. Looking back now it was a HUGE game for its time. I remember that Action in New York from an episode of AVGN where he critiqued the cover art. Oh Ghost n Goblins what lovely box art. Has there ever been a bad box art for that game? A game I loved on my humble spectrum as a kid. Anyways Stu, I hope you had a great Christmas and Happy New Year to you sir. Wow 120 mins of retro cardboard….lovely jubbly. Highlight has to be for me personally was Star Wars arcade boxed…never seen one CIB. Shame it doesn’t work but you can always play the Rom through other means. It’s been another shit year but it’s good to share our hobbies as a way of being kind to our shelves (notice deliberate typo lol) and not letting the bastards grind us down. Love me some metroid. The metroidvania genre is probably my most played. I love the "oh, I can go back there now". I'd personally not open that Star Wars either. Great education on Joan of Ark😂. I think David is secretly a massive N64 fan really. He's just trying to be a hipster. That monster in my pocket will never be complete without the figure😉. I loved the first batman game by from sunsoft. I was properly disappointed in the Joker game. As soon as you mentioned Matt I knew Bucky was coming😂. Top stuff. Those NES boxes are something else. So many amazing art designs on them! Castlevania, Joker, Monster In My Pocket to name a few. Great additions, Stu. That Castlevania trilogy is nice to have complete! Also didn't realise that Squaresoft and Enix were separate back then haha, or that Palcom was Konami! And yes, good old Basshunter 64! I had a pretty battered version for what felt like a while until I got a mint copy for £200. So you've done well! I made a fair bit back when I sold my older copy, think I more than doubled my money so it lessened the outlay. Really enjoyed this, treasure trove of Nintendo cardboard goodness.
