Christmas always comes unexpected! Year by year. *bursting out laughing* I just made mustard: grinding some mustard seeds. As fine as I was able to do. Soaked them in my homemade vinegar. (About the same weight as the mustard seeds. For at least 2 hours.) Added a dash of sugar and salt. Both enhance the flavour. And a dash of ground cinnamon (Thank you, John Quilter, aka known as Foodbusker on YT!) And add as much water as I like. The taste of it can hardly be compared. Since I made my 1st batch, I could not wait to buy more seeds. Thanks to Yasmin. This video is in german. But you'll surely get her points. Adding spices was what I saw from John. Using my homemade red wine vinegar since a workmate from Switzerland gifted me with the base he kept for some 30 years. But all of that is up to you all! Experiment with it! Here is that video of Yasmin, starting me to try: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i2fNnaqJg7l6l6c

Yes it does! Sounds like your first batch of mustard was a success, I'm sure that it is way better than anything you can get at the store. Have a great week Peter!
