This year I got "The Slow Regard of Silent Things" by Patrick Rothfuss, "Ready Player One" by Ernest Cline, "Composition No. 1"; a book with loose pages that you can shuffle anyway you want and the story still comes together and makes sense, and an instruction book on how to make your own books (binding techniques and such). Super happy! :)

The Civil War trade you got is the complete main series of the Civil War storyline. The other trades are side stories of how the Civil War affected the other groups/characters in the Marvel Universe.

Question for everyone: If I didn't take to HP Book 1, do you think I can enjoy the Heroes of Olympus? I've heard that series is a little more grown up than Percy Jackson. Sweet! Civil War is one of my favorite Marvel events. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Most of the tie-ins are meh but definitely check out the Civil War Spiderman as it is essential and sooo good.

heroes of olympus is a middle grade series and its brilliant, as long as you've read percy jackson and the olympians series first (well its recommended anyways) you can go onto HoO :)

I finally told me parents about my youtube channel a few months ago. My sister had found out on her own a while back (I still have no idea how), but I decided I should tell me parents. So I did, and then I hid in the bathroom while they watched my videos. Then my dad told me he was going to post it on his facebook, which I thought was a joke, but it wasn't. So now all of my dad's friends and all of my relatives know XD They're all very supportive, but it's a bit awkward sometimes, especially when I realize that they might be watching my videos, but oh well.

Civil War is a great read, enjoy! However you'll have trouble finding the Spider-Man trade without breaking the bank. It's very hard to find and even if you do it's at a very high cost. My suggestion would be to wait a few years and Marvel will likely make an Omnibus of Civil War once the movie gets closer.

I actually did get a book for Christmas. "Classic G.I. Joe" Vol. 3. You probably never heard this series of comics, but before there was a popular cartoon, "G.I. Joe", besides being a age old toy that was relaunched in 1982, was a comic book series. They were written by a Vietnam Veteran named Larry Hama, and it's a fantastic comic book series. I have the first two volumes and now it's officially 3. Sounds like you had good Christmas this year. I had a good one too. I hope to see you in 2015.

I bought Omega Ruby the day it was released, love it as with all the other Pokemon games. I'm currently working on my Pokedex, at 698 so almost there. I enjoyed reading Rebel Belle, Rachel Hawkins always does a great job with humor in her books.

I bought Omega Ruby the weekend it came out and I finished it in a week on top of school. It's my favorite, and a lot of fun, though I may be biased because it was my favorite Gameboy one. :) Your new books look so exciting! I didn't receive any, but I bought myself "I'll Give You The Sun" by Jandy Nelson. The entire book is told in an artistic way and I'm enjoying it so far!

Athena and Hades play bigger roles than their Roman counterparts! While they are counterparts to one another, the Greek and Roman gods are their own entities.

my family hates reading and they think books are a waste of space and money so they don't buy me books unless i specifically ask for some but my late father's side of the family reads and always buys me barnes n noble cards which this year i spent completely on manga ( fairy tail, rurouni kenshin, and inuyasha) since i've been getting into them lately, finally, it's weird i hated the shelves at barnes and noble b4 but after i walked into books a million i finally really loved it, i guess b cuz they had more of the less popular series and they came with bigger books and they were just so aesthetically pleasing and u know after u know what you're looking for and know it won't b a waste of money and embarrassment it's easier. i usually just stick to anime but now i'm ready for manga but i still am getting into it so i've only bought things i've seen before and want to experience the adventure again but this time the whole story. i've decided books a million is my store for manga and bNn but it will have to the oak view one because i don't like being in the corner at the crossroads one, and u know i like that i can hide away too, i mean i just don't really like being around so many people is all and everyone goes to see the YA section so it's just really crowded is all and i like that oak view separated YA and manga and it's great b cuz now only my people can see me and i know they won't have crazy misconceptions.

About the extended family finding out about the channel - that's definitely something I'll have to look out for. Two of my cousins already know, but that is it (and I certainly hope that that is all who will find out for now, especially considering I'm new to youtube). About the books: -I recently got The Lost Hero and I can't wait to finally sit down and read it! (hopefully I'll do that soon since I now want to do video reviews and all, but yeah) -I REALLYYYYY want to get Rebel Belle, it sounds so good, and I've heard fan-/tas/-tic things about it! -side effects may vary looks very interesting, I might just have to pick that one up as well (guess who's gonna be broke, hahahaha) About the videos: -What do you use to edit? And the Lies of Locke Lamora is in my wishlist, I'll try to buy(or receive as present) this year. My santa only got me "Attachments" by Rainbow Rowell and I got myself a pretty complete edition of "From Hell" by Alan Moore(I highly recommend you to read it!) and a Lovecraft biography. I can only imagine the strange surprise in the "oh! we saw your youtube videos!" situation, haha :D But it looked like it was fun in the end =)
