Never thought of it from the Blues perspective but that postponed game could be the defining moment of the season. As you stated, we rested up, but they did as well. Their rest resulted in points taken from our title challengers. Going to be interested where that game gets slotted into the schedule.

Damn to AFCON. if he wasnt to PLAY AFCON, he Would ve reached another top levels cause everytime he goes to AFCON, he comes back tired or injured which ruined about 3 or 4 seasons as he was the main man for Egypt among locals and always dragging them to the final Single handed. Still managing to be one of The greats to ever play in EPL. Thank you Redmen team, amazing stuff as always. YNWA

So I am a Liverpool fan but am also Ghanaian so I really pay attention to AFCON.... Out of 4 he has been to 2 finals, so it's not "ALWAYS dragging them to a final" The next AFCON is 2025 December

A friend of mine commented before the game that it's no longer 'AngeBall' but 'Suicide Football' (Pretty sure he didn't coin the phrase) But he's right. No matter the side he puts out, the way they play doesn't change for the full 90+ minutes. It's a very weird thing to watch.

Endo is class as a DM , doesn't make powering runs forward but is a great passer of the ball. So we're fine this season, without recalling or dipping into the transfer market.

@danielhughes6929 I agree Endo is class but Slot seemingly doesn't unfortunately. He literally never starts Endo in any of the big games to give Gravenberch a rest, only in occasional low priority cup games. On thinking about it, I can't see Slot starting Bajectic in place of Gravenberch either tbh.
