I am going to make this using the plans but modifying a little. For the shelves, instead of just using screws, washers and nuts, I am going to replace the standard nuts with wing nuts so I can easily assemble with no tools other than a screw driver to hold the screw while I tighten the wing nuts. Thanks for this awesome build... now on to my build.

My SIL made one of these for my daughter a few years ago. I make quilted ornaments. My SIL has agreed to make me four of these. They will all fit together to form a perfectly round tree with shelves ..... for my ornament display at an upcoming Christmas in July craft show at an upscale resort. If anyone asks me about my new display, credit is going to you. You inspired me!

I made a simple fruit crate for my wife’s office raffle fundraiser and now he coworkers are asking me to make these. Certainly looks easy enough. Maybe it will get me out of doing holiday shopping. Great video!

Are you measuring 15” up from the bottom to the top of the shelf? Bottom ? Or under bracing?

Thank you. Actually I think I would try to eliminate that small gap in the back a little more. You cant see it at night when the lights are on but during the day you can see it when the room is brighter. I would also like to mount some kind of dowel or something at the top so I can add a tree topper on it.
