It's ok to hike a bike. I do it all the time. Remember to think young. I'm not sure what your age is but I'm 49. I'm refusing to get old. 😂

Thank you for sharing this video. I'm definitely going there this month! Question about the route. In your Trailforks link, it shows that after you finished Hawley, you climbed up the South Upper Truckee Rd to TRT, then descended Christmas Valley. On your Strava, it shows that you did an Out and Back on Christmas Valley. The question is, can you do out and back on Christmas Valley or making a loop is suggested (just like how it shows in Trailforks) for this route? I do like those tech climbs and would really like to hit those on my way up. Thanks!!

I have never done a loop but I have had several people tell me to make a loop out of it. I need to check into that . I've just always did as an out and back because I like trying to climb it and love coming back down it
