CHRISTMAS VLOGS! 🎶 part 4 York Overnight! Big Christmas Concert, Markets, Shambles & Bettys Tearoom

July 2022 when I flew to Manchester to visit family I rented an Airbnb in York and my brother and his wife came from Filey for a few days.I had the best time,the place we stayed was just a couple hundred yards from Morrison’s.I was so happy!I recommend the Railway Museum for anyone that hasn’t been.Sweet shops in the Shambles were so good.I came back to FL with Raspberry Ruffles,Cough Candy(love it)Flying Saucers,Pink Shrimp to name but a few.My cases were full of goodies.Luckily the train went from York directly to the Airport.Glad you had a good time.The singer had a great voice.I also loved Flying Tiger,never seen one before .I forget I’ve lived here over 30 years,that’s why I love your vlogs to see the changes.

Love York, my brother lives up there so we are going up at the end of the school holidays. I recommend the travellodge at layerthorpe it has a free carpark and if not the sainsbury's is about £6 for 24hrs. If you walk into york from there its about 10 minutes and you come to the end of shambles. The ghost place makes tiny little figures its always busy.

Thanks so much for your tour around what was my home town for many years. York is busy all the time and yes hard to park anywhere. Hi Claire York is beautiful isn’t it we went there last November for a week did you manage to see the Queen statue we were there when King Charles unveiled it and we had afternoon tea in Betty’s very nice loving your Christmas Vlogs I wish you and Simon a very happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year ❤

I'm a bit behind on vlogs 😂 I took my mum to Betty's in Harrogate fro afternoon tea a couple of years ago and we felt it was nice but nothing special for the price. I don't know if you've ever been but I highly recommend Slatterys in Whitefield, Manchester. Their afternoon tea is amazing and really well priced. The hot chocolate is beautiful x

I haven’t been to York since a school trip at junior school, so some 53 years ago. I got lost in The Shambles and was taken back to the school coach in a police car. So nice to be shown around. I did see the Harry Potter vibe while in The Shambles. Simon’s roast beef Yorkshire pudding wrap looked amazing as did your roast potatoes. Well worth fighting the crowds for. You do like a Hilton hotel….. Sounds like your 14 year old school girl crush came true watching Alistair Griffin. Be afraid Simon. 😂 He did sound good though and really got audience fully involved. Such a fun night. You really went to town in Betty’s. Seriously spoilt for choice. Certainly a-lotp😊 quieter in Cafe Nero. Was the pasty in the car home nice?😂
