Getting older, as aging takes its toll, adjustments can be difficult. Let's face it, they are difficult. But, as with every season we've been through, we do our best, leaning on Him with each and every step. The main thing is that we don't give up, but continue to find purpose in our lives. Nanny I have bone on bone arthritis and a meniscus tear too. I'm scheduled to have surgery, but I'm having some other health problems so I don't think I will be having the surgery now. I was sidelined approximately the same time you were, and have been catching up. You look lovely and your voice is vibrant despite your troubles. You restore my faith; thank you. I also have knee (both) troubles and have been fortunate enough to have an Rx that is a small miracle: diclofenac sodium topical gel. I’m told ( nursing staff) that it either works well, or not at all. No in between. I’m in the works well category. It can be used 4 times a day which allows me mobility for part of the time and pain relief. You might try it. Meanwhile THANK YOU for sharing this video of your family, your holiday celebrations, etc. good to “see” you. Hugs and best wishes to you, the moose, and all your family.

Dearest Nanny so happy to see this KZbin video! You look wonderful!! Yes our joints can be very problematic at the age we are. You seem to be doing well in spite of your knee injury. Yes knees take a while to heal. I had to have a complete knew replacement that set me back for 3 months. I told you this when you first had your injury. Keep up with the doctor's orders and you will do great. As far as the ending of this video all I can say is from your mouth to God's ears!!! So much love to you too! I hope your knee heals and the pain subsides very very soon. I have bone on bone and a torn miniscus in my right knee, so I feel your pain, literally! I was completely blind sided at how severe the pain could be. My tummy couldn't take the 800 mg ibuprofens so I found a prescription patch that is basically the same thing but I put it on my knee at the 1st sign of pain and it has helped. It's called Diclofenac Epolamine Patch 1.3%. Well, be well my dear, you and Moosie, and here's to 2024!

I pray you get better! I tore my meniscus as well, 20 years ago and ended up having arthroscopic surgery to remove mine, as it was too badly torn to be repaired. I love watching your videos 6:58 and look forward to every one of them 6:14 ! Take care and God Bless you and Mooney!!❤️

I agree with you, we must take pleasure in the smallest of things. A blackbird was singing very early a few mornings ago and it lifted my spirits no end. I have 'cabin fever' after only a few days if not going out for a walk but tomorrow I'm out whether it's raining or not. Its 90% rain this evening in the UK but hopefully it may back off a little. Nanny, you are such an inspiration. So up most all time. For someone who didnt wear makeup until about 2-3 yrs ago you have nice skin. But you said you always put creams on because of your duty skin. That made the difference in your skin. Even if one does wear the makeup they need to take care of their skin with creams to avoid damage and wrinkling. I can relate to your problem with your knee. I recently visited Urgent Care with my wrist and thumb pain. It’s Osteoarthritis and was quite inflamed. I start therapy next week. The pain is bad most of time, wearing a wrap sleeve, and taking Tylenol and IBU. I do some hand exercises during the day, but the sleeve helps with the pain. You are sweet. We will get through this together! Love you. 💕💕💕💕
