I always watch to the end to so don’t get discouraged keep it up if it really is your passion you never know one day you’ll be where you want to be

Hello there - thanks very much for checking out the videos and lovely feedback. Glad you enjoy British content! I like to check out US campers now and again - especially the smaller channels. My audience retention is still awful but it's nice to know people watch to the end. That said - I am always trying to make the videos flow a little quicker each time. Appreciate your comment - gives me encouragement! 🙂

Hi Wild bike camper, we so enjoyed watching your video, it was inspirational, especially as you got there by bike and train. That must have taken some organizing. Also you certainly ate well, your also a good cook by the looks of it. You looked so cosy, even though you said you felt a bit cold. Also your comment about you being boring, well it was nice to hear your honesty, and refreshing to see your humility. very good qualities and commendable. Your kindness to the peacock was also very nice to see as we love animals. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Would love to know how you go about choosing where to camp.

Thank you very much for your lovely comment. This trip wasn't too bad, but the one I did to Builth Wells ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZoawYaKZfLeWpdk ) was really hard going and took months to plan. Appreciate that you like my humility - I think it's important to be honest and admit I don't really know what I'm doing, but learning from others who do a much better job of it than I do has given me a bit of confidence to try. I'll try and address your query about how I plan my camps, in a seperate video maybe :-)

Never seen you before, but when you said you didn't have many subscriber's I added to them. I am always impressed to see cycle campers. My Aunt and uncle toured with a tandem with side car with my little cousin in it all over SE UK in the 1950s.

Never happier than when I'm out in nature walking, riding my bike or just spending some time in the woods making a brew & some lunch. Thanks so much for the lovely comment. Maybe us introverts self-deprecate too much. I reckon if you did a video of your first wild camp and just nattered to the camera - loads of people would find you interesting - because you overcame your nerves and did it. So far (fingers crossed) I've yet to experience a single issue - other than the trains never being on time or even arriving...🙄 The more you do it - the more confident you get....but even now - it can take days to psyche myself up...(and for nothing!🤣)

@@sarahhunt7005 Ah - I understand and appreciate how that feels. I'm in my 40s too - it's never too late to start. Plenty of other very successful and inspirational KZbinrs have taught me that. I have *never* had anyone follow through on their promise to come cycling or camping with me. So after years of frustration - I finally went out and did it myself. I hope I inspire you as others did me.

First time viewer of your channel. Travelling by bike is a great way to get out and about. That cook up looked very tasty and you done well to persevere with that wind blowing non stop. I see Sandy does a lot of bike camping adventures on his channel and its amazing how much you can carry on a bike. I'll give you a sub always good to see someone new get out and have an adventure or two and film it plus i like seeing different parts of the countryside. Cheers from Australia

Thanks for your view, sub and feedback. It was *really* tasty - I don't get everything right every time - but I do eat very well when I'm out there (as you can tell from my portly figure!!). Because the tarp was set up in the right direction to begin with (wet finger test) it helped a lot in keeping the fire under control. Yep - the pannier rack I use can hold up to 25Kg - but I won't max it out just in case. Sandy is a big inspiration. I've been cycling for decades - camped since I was a teen. But it never occurred to me that I could combine them until a few years ago....Sandy makes it look so easy!

I looooove Wildbeare and Kent Survival!! If you want to dip into a niche of camping videos it’s ASMR videos. You have such a quiet calming voice that you could give an intro, film while you setup getting all the good sounds, an occasional quiet comment here and there, film you cooking, etc. especially leaves crunching under shoes and rain hitting the tent/tarp. Even this one was a decent ASMR one you just need a better microphone. That’s been my favorite aspect of camping videos and I usually end up falling asleep to them because, for whatever reason, most camping KZbinrs have lovely calming voices.
@WildBikeCamper
@WildBikeCamper 10 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment and feedback. I've been told I've a calming presence/voice quite often over the years. I've definitely considered exploring the ASMR niche - I recommend @pravinasmr and @ASMRKittyKlaw (as a starter). I like your ideas and will try and incorporate them at some point. As for the microphone - I agree - but don't have the cash for a good one yet - and the cheap ones don't ever seem to work for me. But will keep a look out - maybe in 3-6 months I'll be able to upgrade 🙂
