We especially like your river gorge. It's much more realistic than the wider river in the river pass kit. How did you achieve that effect. Can you give us some tips?

If you have the full kit you may need to change it a bit then to incorporate the waterfall etc. I did not use the kit but made the slopes myself using a jigsaw with plywood and pine timber pieces cut from 5mm up to 80mm in height.

I have the whole River pass Kit still in the Box. Had it 3 yrs now, but have been working on some Dioramas. I also have been thinking how to modify this layout. I definitely want to put a waterfall in somewhere with a river Bed.

Can't imagine how much this must have cost you to set up this great layout. Thanks for sharing. I hope to get somewhere near that one day. My wife has the scenery skills. I'm still needing wiring help to really do things right, but I have enough track, 3 engines, and carriages, and a number of Woodland Scenic material, buildings, animals, etc., but I'm sure I have to spend another $2000 to $3000 yet to get my layout anywhere near yours. I'm finding coupling problems with one of my engines. Any clues on how to fix that. It's a wonderful hobby and I hope to spend many a year trying to emulate what you've obviously spent hours to achieve.

I suggest you try Kadee couplers, they are good quality. Ask your local hobby shop for help.
