Woh man, thats strange. I never cared for Christo and did no really remember all the stuff he did, neither i never really appreciated it. However, now i have a "Michael Jackson"s death moment: "What a pitty this guy, I never did pay too much attention to, is gone". Rest in peace man, i will now check out your work and this movie.

Just don't get on Christo's bad side. He does not tolerate any kind of slacking or insubordination from his contractors. But when the success of a project depends on the exactitude of its execution you might expect its artist to become a perfectionist.

Yes, RIP. He was a unique human being and that has inherent value. His art though? Never found value. Other than "WTF, why did that much money get wasted on that?" his works never made think or feel. Isn't that the point of art? I guess WTF is a type of feeling. But I get that virtually for free reading comments on Internet forums, so not sure it needed to involve a couple hundred thousand hunks of floating plastic covered with fabric.
