It's fun watching interviewers struggling to get him out of his shell, because he's not your typical down-to-Earth, laugh-along, interactive guy. He's more pensive and has an unusual aura about him and a very "German" sense of humour, and watching him on fast-paced American chat shows is a fascinating case study in cultural differences.

***** I really like Chrstoph, he is an awesome actor, but I would say he is better or even on the same level as Oldman. Gary Oldman is probably the most versatile actor in Hollywood. From things like Sid & Nancy, to Leon, to Dark Knight, to Nobody's Baby, to True Romance. I don't know of any actor who could pull all those roles off, even Day-Lewis would stuggle

The scene I remember most about Django movie is when Dr Schultz after killing me Calvin Candie , he said; "I'm sorry, I couldn't resist", that was the best line ever made, and about Christoph, if I could highlight his characters, I'd choose two, "King Schultz & Hans Landa", more better known as "the good and the bad", so thank you Quentin for casting him.

Christoph speaks "High German" "Hoch Deutsch" its the most common German accent. In Austria people gernerally have an Austrian accent. In Germany there also several different accents and each of them sounds different. Those different accents transfer over into english. Arnold has a German/Austrian accents Waltz has a "High German"/americanized accent. Someone from east Germany would have a saxon english accent.
