Christoph Waltz Interview Comic-Con 2012

Academy Award winning actor, Christoph Waltz, rejoins Quentin Tarantino for his western action film, Django Unchained. The film also stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Calvin Candie and Jamie Foxx as Django. Waltz portrays bounty hunter and former dentist, Dr. King Schultz. Schultz offers Django an offer he cannot refuse. In exchange for his help in hunting down the Brittle Brothers, Schultz will grant Django his freedom and help him rescue his wife, Broomhilda (Kerry Washington).
Django Unchained will be released on Christmas day 2012.

I don't understand where you are coming from - for me an actor can be genius the same as quantum physicist or pharmaceutical prodigy. Different fields only. I mean we should be really glad for people like Christoph in this era where majority (read: half-idiots) seem to dominate the world and all what's in it - like movies.

In German-language interviews, his language is extremely elaborate, but also concise and elegant in a way. Austrians have a reputation for that, but he takes it one step further. If you ever happen to see any interview with him from German-language TV, look at the person interviewing him - more often than not, especially in smaller or more tabloid-like shows, they clearly have to concentrate very hard to follow him. Which makes it even more fun when his character talks the same way :D

I could see Christoph Waltz playing The Mad Hatter in one of the films in a Dark Knight spinoff trilogy that takes place some years after Rises and focuses on Robin John Blake as Nightwing. I think he would be Great and possibly be up for a third Oscar nomination!
