Awesome technique! 2 questions. 1) what gauge of strings do you use on your guitar? 2) did you have to alter your string spacing in any way to accommodate the technique for guitar? Again, great stuff. :)

most likely *just a guess* if not standard its a half or maybe maybe a hole step down *shrug* just tune ur E string down to his (he plays it often) then tune the rest, standardising it to that ^^

they're hair ties and they mute the strings you're not fretting. try a clean tone.
