Mr. Reality, once again you have provided image and music to a very timely topic. I'm old enough and historically aware enough to remember when the word partisan, with all of it varied meanings, included 'a protector of the people and country.' The French partisans went against the Nazis, the Partigiani di Italia fought against Mussolini when he sided with the Nazi; so it seems to me that lots of people really didn't like the Nazis. Once again, thank you for your efforts.

I'm not aware of any writer or speaker who comes close to CH in inspiration and wit. However, looking at the present situation in Washington DC, I possibly cannot see that a lack of partisanship is a problem.

For all the rhetoric around trump and Biden and filibusters and the rest of it, their admins have been quite similar in terms of action, all the most consequential areas are practically the same. Military keeps growing, police continue to be militarized, tax structure fundamentally unchanged, campaign finance and lobbying practices more or less the same, mandatory spending untouched, little to no improvement on healthcare, housing, highways.. education system mostly the same etc.. Canada is quite similar where the Libs and cons always join when it matters, like forcing the Montreal port strike to end.
