I...never knew I needed to hear Christopher Lee sing....let alone singing Gilbert and Sullivan....let alone singing this particular Gilbert and Sullivan song.....let alone hear him laugh like that. o.o Good lord, this is glorious.

A truly great, versatile actor, my favourite! However, until finding this by chance, I never realised he could sing too, which he does with as much enthusiasm and skill as in his more usual roles. Excellent!

I wish I could see him play the full role and speak the lines in that voice - "I forget the punishment for encompassing the death of the heir apparent - I think it involves something lingering... with boiling oil in it... I know it's something humorous - but LINGERING."

Brava, Mr. Lee, brava! That laugh is worthy of famous stage Mikados, including Donald Adams and Darrell Fancourt (who started that tradition of the Mikado giving a bloodcurdling laugh in the first place).

@@nailheadparty Please! I think I heard "A puzzlement" from the complete" King & I" with Valerie Masterson. I would like to see a play or film which tells the true story of Anna Leonowens. She was a terrible fibber and the books and musical were based on that. For a start she was of mixed race.
